I am not who I am :-).

I have created this blog to ruminate on some of my thoughts (as in iVichar) on things happening around me. My thoughts are merely my opinions and I do not intend to impose them on anyone, so just read and leave it at that :-).

Ramanuja Iyer is my pseudonym, and it is an oxymoron of sorts.
Wanted a name that sounds very common, but yet is really not common. If you are from the south of India you'd know that Ramanuja can never be an Iyer :-). Ramanuja is a fairly common first name while Iyer is a very common last name, but clearly the two will not gel together because Ramanuja can only be an Iyengar and not an Iyer. It is one of the most Iyengar of names.
iVichar stands for Iyer Thoughts.., plus being a fan of Steve Jobs, the 'i' in front of the Vichar fitted well...

Now a little about me. You can know more about me by reading thro by blog postings as they are a reflection of my thoughts. Not here to get eye balls or increase the click-o-meter. I write for my own satisfaction and hence write only on topics that I feel strongly about.
I am an engineer by education and profession. I also did my MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business. Work for a leading European technology company based out of their office close to NYC, and making a decent living out of it. On a personal front, happily married with a wonderful wife, and a son any parent can be proud of.
